This diet detoxifies the body and decreases fat consumption, thereby assisting in weight loss. GM diet Day 1

Here you have the freedom to eat any fruit and as much fruits as possible. Bananas are prohibited for consumption as they are associated with weight gain. Consume lemons, oranges, berries and loads of melons. Your body will be highly hydrated and detoxicated after day 1. There are chances that you may lose up to 3lbs on your 1st day itself.

You have to consume only vegetables on the 2nd day. Go for boiled potatoes during breakfast, bowl full of green salad during lunch and cooked vegetables at night. This diet will provide you a lot of carbohydrates and dietary fiber. Avoid cooking your vegetables with coconut oil or highly saturated fat oil. You may use olive oil in small amount. Your body hasn’t consumed any fat or heavy food for two consecutive days now.

Day 3 of the GM diet is a combination of the 1st two days. You may consume any fruit or vegetable except bananas and potatoes. This will significantly help you in burning the excess fat in your body.

Till now your body would have lost sodium and potassium. So, it is time to consume bananas which is a source of these minerals. Have 8-10 bananas over the day. Drink milk and have soup whenever you feel hungry. It is recommended to have 3-4 glasses of milk and cabbage soup on this day of GM diet.

Since you have not taken protein for the last 4 days, today you will consume meat. Take beef or chicken for protein along with loads of tomatoes for its digestion. Tomatoes are high in fiber and will also assist in the digestion of protein. Along with them drink tons of water for flushing the toxins out of the body.

This day again you will be consuming beef or chicken, along with loads of vegetables. This will provide you with nutrients ranging from protein, fiber, carbohydrates, vitamins and minerals. You will feel light weighted, energetic and a lot healthier than the day you started.

GM diet Day 7

Consume brown rice along with vegetables and fruits. Dietary fiber rich food will flush away all the toxins from your body and you will feel energetic. You can check your weight now and you will find that your hard work has paid off.

Things you should know about GM diet plan

• People going for GM diet may at first go through some side effects. People consuming this diet may get headaches for the 1st few days as the body is not accustomed to this type of diet.
• You might feel your muscles are getting weak because you won’t be taking protein for few days.
• Drink loads of water to relieve headaches and dehydration.
• Do not make changes to the routine. Stick to the plan if you really want to lose weight.
• If you want to lose more weight, go for GM diet for another week.
