Wear shoes according to occasion
Don’t wear single pair of shoes for every occasion. It is important to have a pair of sports shoes for exercise, workouts and running. Similarly, wear mountaineering boots for mountain climbing, comfortable leather shoes for work and also own a pair of informal shoes.
Wash your feet daily
Our feet mostly come in contact with germs and dirt. Also, they are usually stuffed in socks which can propagate bacteria. So, it is necessary to give adequate time to wash our feet. Take a bucket of lukewarm water and add a liquid disinfectant. Keep your feet in it for 5-10 mins and then wash it. Make sure you don’t have dirt stuck in between your toes and nails. Dry your feet with a towel. It is important to note that soaking feet for a significant amount of time in water will remove the essential oils and make it dry. So, try avoiding it.
Wear Comfortable shoes
It is essential to wear comfortable footwear. Your preference of shoes must be different in accordance to the season. During summers; tight shoes may lead to excessive germ formation, sweaty feet and bad odor. So, to prevent that wear sandals and shoes; this allow feet to breathe. In the rainy season it is recommended to wear waterproof boots. It becomes important to keep our feet warm during winters. So, wear socks and padded shoes to prevent frostbites.
Moisturize your feet
