Chicken Pox Diet – About the disease

Chicken pox is an airborne disease which is caused by varicella zoster virus. This skin disease is prevalent in children although it can occur to people of all ages. Chicken pox is a highly contagious disease. During this period itchy red blisters appear all over the body of the patient.  It is accompanied by severe headache, nausea, loss of appetite and weak digestive system.


The period of this disease can vary depending on the severity. The duration is usually for about 7-15 days.  Appropriate diet should be maintained along with ample rest and proper medication.
